college is a lot of work.
i've had at least one test a week pretty much every week
of this semester.
but i must say, i've been getting some decent grades on them. :)
i've learned that the library is my friend and
that those textbooks that i pay so much for?
it helps if you actually read them.
it took a year at school to figure this out, but hey, at least i got there.
i had fall break this past weekend and went to west virginia
with eastern's outdoor club.
it was amazing.
beautiful mountians, leaves changing colors, white water
rafting on class 5+ rapids, hiking, climbing, campfires,
laughing, inappropriate jokes, fun games, bridge day, football,
and meeting 11 new friends.
oh, and also driving 14+ hours in 4 days and 28 degree nights.
but it was good. definitely a fun break from textbooks and tests.
this weekend i have a class trip to a camp (for my camping class)
and next weekend i'm heading home to see my fam and friends.
thennn only 3 weeks till thanksgiving and after that one
week of classes and finals!!!
this semester flew by.
sometime this week i'm planning on officially declaring my major.
economic development with a sociology minor.
and if i take a couple classes at mcc this summer then
i think i'm gonna graduate next year, so exciting!!
hopefully once i get an advisor in my dept i can figure this out
for sure, but it should work.
i'll at least graduate a semester early.
then who knows where life will lead me...
have a fantastic fall, it's my favorite season. :)
always love,
h
