I'm not gonna lie.
I'm totally procrastinating right now.
I have four final exams this week, a final project, and an assignment to do.
However, I find taking mini breaks can help keep me more focused
in the long run. Or as least I keep telling myself that.
In order to stay positive and not get super stressed over
all the things on my to do list for this week
I thought I'd make a list for the fun things I hope to do over break.
Here it goes...
1.
Bake/Cook a lot.
During several of my "mini breaks" from studying
I've been looking up recipes.
I can't wait to make Christmas cookies!!
2.
Read for fun.
Last year over winter break I read over 1,000
pages. I hope to repeat that.
3.
Make money.
I have some babysitting lined up
and another possible job, too.
Time to make some money, so I can
pay for tuition next semester!
4.
Finish Christmas shopping.
Honestly, I know it's only Dec. 6th,
but I'm pretty much done already.
There are a couple of people I still want to
get things for though.
5.
Get my car fixed.
It's been making weird noises and leaking
strange things for a few months now.
It's time to get that taken care of.
That's pretty much it. Just some simple plans for break.
And of course I'll spend time with family and friends.
Speaking of friends, mine know me very well.
We exchanges Christmas gifts last night since we're leaving
school soon and they got me the cutest knit owl hat.
(not exactly the one in the picture, but similar)
My three current obsessions are owls, knit hats, and stripes.
They also got me owl pj's that I totally had my eye on and
a Justin Bieber fan book that came with stickers and a poster.
Can't wait until these finals are over...
always love,
h
